Kate Frankfurt has dedicated her career to addressing pressing social issues through the development of healthy systems, particularly as they relate to children, families, and the leaders who serve them. For 20+ years in senior leadership roles, she has built high-performing teams, navigated organizational transitions, and partnered with executives, boards, and stakeholders across sectors to drive meaningful, lasting impact.
Through her practice, Good Wolf Leadership Coaching, Kate works with executives and organizations across sectors to build the clarity, confidence, and strategic focus that effective leadership demands. She holds a certificate in Executive Leadership Coaching from the Georgetown Institute for Transformational Leadership, an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation, and a Master of Social Work with post-graduate training in Family Systems.
In addition to private coaching clients, she serves on the facilitation team for the North Tahoe Leadership Program, coaches staff at the Town of Truckee, and serves as an Advisor to Grounded Idealist. Kate volunteers as a leadership coach at San Quentin SkunkWorks, is a former board member of the Mind Body Awareness Project, and currently sits on the board of the Shane McConkey Foundation.
Based in North Tahoe, Kate is a former competitive sweep rower and mother of two grown boys. When not working, she can be found hiking, paddleboarding, or planning her next adventure — most recently biking through Vietnam and trekking in Nepal.
